A rush of heat; darkness. This was what Link felt and saw upon entering the portal that lead itself to the planet that was home of the woman in orange armor. Twilit particles lazily floated around his form as a shiver ran down his spine, despite the intense heat. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead immediately; dripping down to his chin. He spectated the immediate area for signs of danger, only to find none. He grew suspicious very fast. Where was Zant and his minions? And why were they not attacking him? Usually Zant was careless enough to just leave monsters out in plain sight, ready to be ambushed. This just didn't feel right... Alas. His left hand gripped the pommel of his sword tighter; his digits flexing around the hilt. His other arm tensed in preperation of an onslaught of objects hitting his shield. Now all that was left to do was wait...

A tiny little spider like creature, no more than two feet tall with its turquoise thorax in the air, wheeled around the corner as it crawled on four hairy purple legs. The creature though, was appearing to being in the middle of Twilit corruption as onyx tendrils curled amongst the hair, and red designs were setting into the shell. A single eye bobbed up and down at the center of it, bright yellow with a black iris in the dot..And it was looking directly at Link. For a long and awkward moment, the tiny baby ghoma stared at Link, as if blank. Then, it would screech like a baby crying, its legs shaking underneath it as it seemed to begin to panic, skittering around in circles.
A deafening boom rang out through the hallway, the spider instantly silencing as it turned to look behind it. The sound came again, and a network of cracks ran out around the opposite wall that almost resembled a spider web. The stone shattered with a final blow from within, dust and acid splattering into the air along with huge pieces of stone rubble that the tiny little ghoma ducked to the side to avoid. The dust and acid seemed to murk the air, shading it like mist around the broken wall like a curtain on a play. But behind the curtain, behind the mist, an orange eye tinted with red and black was seen glowing brighter by the second. As soon as it reached the peek of its fire like glow, a beam of fire would rip from the eye, tracing along the ground in a path down the hallway, that would head directly for Link.

Link quickly backflipped onto a higher ledge to avoid the spray of acid, raising his shield to block the offending laser beam. A burning sensation reached to his arm as he realized that the heat of the beam was spreading throughout the shield and past his bracer. Flinching, he rolled to the side and dropped the shield, which was now blazing red.
Donning his Hero's Bow, he took aim for the eye of the spider, swiftly releasing an arrow. His shield would have to be picked up later, for there was limited time in which he would have to defeat Armogohma.

"There will be no chance," grumbled Zant in his thoughts, "No chance for failure. I must not fail my god once more. I must not fail my people once more." A line of black pixels burst into view as the arrow slung down the hallway at high speeds. From the pixels Zant came, his helmet glistening green in the light glow giving off by the acid. "L-Link..Link..Link..!!!" Zant began to think, slowly shifting into discord. More and more, Zant began to slip away in his mind to see his death standing just a bit away from him. With a clank, his faceplate came down and childish giggling burst from his mouth. The tassels on his sleeves blasting back, Zant raised his hand and began to fire bolts the moment he materialized. What he didn't expect was the arrow, and it collided barely with the first bolt of energy from his hand with a popping noise. But one bolt wasn't enough for Zant, and his arms rotated back and forth. One sleeved hand gasped forward to send off a bolt, and retracted while the other shot forward as well in a rotation. The purple energy struck the air as it flied towards Link.
Behind Zant, unaware to the attempt to harm it, the great Armaghoma began to crawl out of the thick dust, over the shattered and torn rubble with its stone claws raking pieces out of the ground as it stepped carefully around each of the pits of acid that dotted the corridor. It scrambled a bit when it saw its master, but lowered itself and crawled below the floating Zant. With a shrill war cry that sounded like stone grating against stone, the back of the stone wall that had been torn to shreds began to line with little red and yellow eyes.
Out from the stone, crawled forth the baby ghomas that Armaghoma had brought with it, teaming with rage to see the man in the green garb. Soon, the tiny spiders hopped and thronged, covering the ground like carpet as they scurried. Screeches and shrill cries, the spiders threw themselves into a frenzy as they clawed across the ground to catch up to their mother far ahead of them, intent on blood, as was their mother..

Thinking quickly, Link struck the ball of energy with his blade and then sheathed it, unpocketing the Dominion Rod - feverishly scouting the dark crevices of the underground lair for the statues that the one in orange armor had informed him of. Time... he needed more TIME. The infant arachnids and Armogohma were hastily closing in on him as Zant stood smugly, silently. And then a thought struck him. He needed SPEED.
His form grotesquely yet gracefully morphed into that of the Sacred Beast; the wolven form that he had used frequently upon the need to fight the Shadow Beasts that had provided him with portals in Hyrule. His paws sped along the ground towards his shield, making sure to keep his footing along the treacherous terrain. If he wanted to somehow attack, he'd need that first.
As he reached the slate of metal, he swiftly morphed back into human form and placed it on his back - then transformed again. Sprinting as quickly as his legs could allow, he hopped and leaped in Zant's direction, hoping to somehow damage him. As they said back in his homeland, without the rider, the horse is lost.

Zant was almost in a frenzy of sorts as he saw Link flash into his wolf form in the midst of battle. "He..I thought he hated that form..He used it as a weapon?" Zant thought in panic, "And he uses it for its..Speed? It's coming for me!!" Zant almost cried out in his laughter, a sharp piercing sound as he noticed Link dashing across the floor at him. The closer Link got, the more panicked Zant became, and he knew the intent to harm was all placed on his metal cased head. Shaking, Zant teleported backwards in fear and shades of black pixels, rushing away from Link just a breath width's behind Armaghoma.
Which, of course, was infuriated to see Link charging in its general direction at all, almost of a challange to its mind of instincts and hunger. Stone was beaten and burst out of the ground like soft paper being drawn harshly against, dust coming from the ground as the spider lowered is massive body, planning to smash into Link with the two pincer arms that hooked out in front of it, razor edge sharp claws on the ends snapping for their precious prey as the swarm of spiders crawled under and over Armaghoma. Their tiny legs nimbly skittered over ground, hole, and hill as they rushed at Link from all sides, making the walls and floors seem alive with their sheer numbers clouding the ground like birds cloud the air. Behind the crowd, though, a trumpet sounded as if it was far away..
