Kakariko Village is a village South of Death Mountain. There is a spring in the town (at the very entrance). After the events of the Twilight, only three survivors live here.

Lake Hylia is part of the Lanayru Province which is located in the west of Hyrule. The lake is home to Lanayru's Spirit Spring. It is also home to the underwater Lakebed Temple. It is fed by Zora's River, which goes all the way to the throne room of Zora's Domain, where the water is said to come from.

The Lanayru Province is part of the province system. It is located west of Eldin Province, east of Peak Province, and occupies the majority of the map. It includes Hyrule Castle, Hyrule Castle Town, Lake Hylia, Zora's Domain, and Zora's River, as well as the third dungeon, Lakebed Temple. It is protected by the Spirit of Light Lanayru. The Lanayru Province is named for the Goddess of Wisdom, Nayru.

Link lives in Ordon Village, living near and working at the Ordon Ranch with his colleague and friend Fado. Link's house contains a basement and a few platforms with ladders, and at the top there is a window which Link can look through. The basement so dark that someone will need a lantern to go in it.

This is the spring in Ordon that, like all the other springs in Hyrule, has healing abilities.

Ordon Village is Link's hometown. The village is small, and has few inhabitants. The villagers include: Link, Rusl, Uli, Colin, Fado, Hanch, Sera, Beth, Mayor Bo, Ilia, Talo, Malo, Jaggle, and finally, Pergie. This village has a general store and a ranch. Ordon Ranch A ranch to the south of Ordon. It is currently run by Fado, and the only animals there are Ordon goats.

Ordona Province is part of the province system. It is located at the southern end of the map and is by far the smallest province in the game. It includes Ordon Village, Link's home village, Ordon Ranch, and Ordon Woods. It is connected to Faron Province to the north. It is watched over by the Spirit of Light Ordona.

Peak Province is part of the province system. It is located northwest of Lanayru Province and is located on the northwestern part of the map. It can only be entered by going through the tunnel in the very north part of Zora's river. It contains Snowpeak, which is home to a large number of wolfos, which are quite similar in appearance to Wolf Link, the only difference is the color of their coat. The only friendly people in this province are two Yetis named Yeto and Yeta, who live in Snowpeak Ruins.

Snowpeak Top is the highest point of Snowpeak. It is located in the Peak Province on top of Snowpeak Mountain, and it can be reached by climbing Snowpeak. After exiting an ice cave, a round stone door with yeti handprints allows people to reach Snowpeak Top. On the top of the mountain, there is a frozen tree with crystal leaves, which can be used as a snowboard of sorts.

It is here that the Spirits of Light rest in Hyrule, protecting their provinces and securing the land from evil. The spirit springs serve as an area to heal wounds.
There are four springs, one in each province:
* Ordon Spring * Faron Spring * Eldin Spring * Lanayru Spring

Telma's Bar is a small, out-of-the-way hangout located down one of the alleyways of the Hyrule Castle Town South Road. It is reputed to be popular amongst soldiers and traveling swordsmen alike. Telma's Bar is owned by Telma, a brave and kind-hearted woman.

Upper Zora's River is the location of the boat rentals shop. It leads down towards Lake Hylia.

The Waterfall Rapids in is the area which connects Lake Hylia with Upper Zora's River. Only able to be traversed by flight, or teleportation.

Zora's Domain consists of two main areas: The throne room, and what might possibly be Zora's Fountain, which connects to Snowpeak.
