Name: Link.
Fandom: The Legend of Zelda series.
Picture:
Brief History [Don‘t copy from a source]: Link, a young man from the village of Ordon, was just an ordinary goat herder - until one day when the village's warrior, Rusl, asked him to take two special gifts (being an expertly crafted sword and shield) to the Royal Family in Hyrule Castle. Link was happy to oblige. On the day his journey was SUPPOSED to take place, his friend Ilia noticed a wound on his mount, Epona. After scolding Link and her father the Mayor (for defending Link) she takes the horse to a nearby spring to heal her wounds. Little did she and the other village children know that they would be kidnapped by a Goblin-like beast named King Bulbin. After this happens, Link (who was knocked unconcious after trying to stop the beasts) persues them. He finds himself being blocked by a wall of Twilight.
(This part is taken from the Zelda wiki, since I have no other way to explain it.)
Light in Hyrule is protected by the four great Spirits of Light, who each support the light in their respective province. During the events of Twilight Princess, that light is taken away, and the provinces from which the light is stolen succumb to the Twilight as its light fades away. Zant, the Twilight King, steals the Light from the Light Spirits, and the kingdom of Hyrule is slowly overtaken by Twilight as its light vanishes.
Once overtaken by the Twilight, the inhabitants of the Light are turned into lost spirits. They lose their physical bodies, and become spirits. They are for the most part, unaware of the events, but can see the shadow creatures and other actions performed by them. Once someone has entered the Twilight, it is often impossible to
escape or recover. Only with the help of a member of the Twili race can a lost soul or anything trapped in the Twilight escape. However, there are a select few that can survive in the Twilight without becoming a lost soul. Bearers of the Triforce can usually withstand the effects of the Twilight. Link, bearer of the Triforce of Courage, has been blessed by the Gods to survive the effects of the Twilight Realm. So instead of becoming a lost spirit, Link
retains a physical form, however the form is that of a wolf.
(/end wiki.)
Link soon finds Midna while in his wolf form, and they embark on a long journey to restore light to Hyrule and defeat Zant, the king of Twilight...
...Only to find out that once again, Ganondorf is the mind behind the plan.
Personality [Don‘t copy from a source]: Link is a courageous (It's a package that comes with the Triforce. ) young man who will do anything to protect those he is close to. He is kind hearted, and will help anyone he senses is in need. A listener rather than a speaker (yes, my Link DOES speak.) Link absorbs knowledge and uses it to his advantage. Though strong, he is not just all brawn; Link is a clever person who has a knack for solving puzzles and avoiding traps.
Roleplaying Sample: A fine night was upon Link as his boot-clad feet clacked against the dust colored stone that was used to build the Bridge of Eldin. The sky was peaceful and clear; the evening breeze gently tossling Link's golden locks. His eyes surveyed the distant castle. It had been weeks since his last battle with the man he knew simply as Ganondorf; the evil thief who had attempted to take over his homeland. Link subconciously grasped the hilt of the Ordon Sword-but then realized it was just a memory... nothing to get worked up about. His mind lazily drifted to another memory; that of him replacing the Master Sword back in its rightful place.
Should he ever need it again, he would know where he needed to go. Unfortunately, he would need the sacred blade much sooner than he thought...
