Fandom: Metroid

Brief History [Don‘t copy from a source]: Samus Aran was born on the Earth Colony known as K2-L. When she was three years old, the Space Pirates, a ferocious and feared force in the galaxy, eradicated it, leaving her the sole survivor of the disaster.
An ancient species known as the Chozo took her in, raising her to become a fighting machine and giving her the first model of her armor--her Power Suit. When she was fourteen, she left Zebes and went to work for the Federation.
It was there she met Adam Malkovich, her commander and future trusted partner.
After the Chozo were attacked by the Pirates once again, she rushed to their aid and eventually defeat a former mentor, Mother Brain, who had turned to the side of the Space Pirates.
Around that time, Samus had struck out and became a bounty hunter ...
She saves the galaxy for a price.
[[ I'm not including Metroid Fusion, since the time paradoxes allowed Adam to live. ]]
Personality [Don‘t copy from a source]: Samus Aran is, most of the time, cool, calm, and collected. She rarely loses her head in a battle, and is a quick thinker.
Though, she does have a soft side. This is shown when she attempts to save the butterflies and the 'poisonous' flowers growing on Zebes, or when she is called away from killing the Pirate 'commander' [Both examples in the manga].
However, when her past brought up [or forced onto her], she has a tendency to flash back and in the most severe cases, break down. It takes a lot for this to happen, and it rarely occurs, but it does indeed happen.
Roleplaying Sample: It was easy enough. It was supposed to be easy enough.
She knew the Metroids like the back of her hand. At least, she should. She never really got the details, but she knew that it was supposed to be the Ice Beam first, then the missiles.
So why was she staring at shock at the odd creatures?
Samus clenched her free fist and raised her arm cannon, taking one step back towards the gray, sealed door. Her blue eyes were narrowed, but her aim was shaky.
Grandpa Bird made this.
The Chozo made this.
And she was fighting it.
It was somewhat difficult for her to comprehend; was she dishonoring his memory by doing this?
No! I have to finish the mission and get to Mother Brain!
As if she was rejuvenated, Samus suddenly leaped to the side to dodge the Metroid's claws. If latched, she'd be done for.
It took one Ice Missile, and five Missiles. Problem solved.
As the horde approached the huntress, she gave a little smirk and tore ahead.
