Name: Zant
Fandom: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Picture:
Brief History [Don‘t copy from a source]: Zant was part of the royal line in the Twii's race; a race of people shut off in the twilight realm for eternity. He was to be the next to inherit the throne, but instead Midna took his place before him, causing him to gain a growing hate for the Twii and their entrapment within the twilight realm. In the midst of Zant's grief, Ganandorf appeared before him masquerading as a god and extended an offer to Zant: To give Zant part of his power so that Zant could break off the encasement of the twilight realm so that Ganandorf could also escape the twilight realm. Using his new power, Zant usurped Midna and gained the title of "The Usurper King," and continued on to conquer the world of light by bathing it in Twilight; known as Hyrule.
Personality [Don‘t copy from a source]:At first, Zant emits a cold, collective, and foreboding presence. The few appearances he takes before Link breaks into the Twilight Realm to face him reveals him to be cold and callous. Each one of his moves was made with careful calculation, and exertion of his seemingly limitless power. Zant merely hides a childish, angry personality though with this mask of collective evil. When confronted for the last time, Zant is bubbling with insanity and childish fury; to the point of him seeming like a completely different person than he was before. Whether this change was caused by Ganandorf's power influencing him, or if his insanity came from other means is unknown.
Roleplaying Sample:
The cold and black stone resounded the sound of his heavy, tarnished copper boots as they treed across them. Swaying gently, the tassels from his sleeves trailed behind him as he headed towards the main hall, fallowing brightly glowing sapphire tribal designs that were etched into ever surface of the long hallway. His robes were lined and designed on the sides with a similar pattern, as were his sleeves, trailing black tassels flowing from the tips of his sleeves. Draped down his chest was a reddish decorated banner, bearing a stylized version of the Gerudo symbol etched into the cloth. Latched on top of his shoulders, thick metal plates adorned with many etchings and curled designs protected his shoulders and neck. The dim blue light glinted off his silver war-helmet, the metal sheet completely covering his head. The cold metal told nothing but a reflection, but inside the helmet his head was filled with thoughts that oscillated and whirled in his head like a maelstrom of mixed thoughts, rambling through his mind his voice raved on..
"Midna, Midna, Midna of all people to take his spot on the throne instead of him! Why? I am was ready! I can prove it! Show them..Show them all..My god, My god has sent him! Yes! I, Zant, am now a servant of a god! They have self justification, but I have holy justification!"
Under the folds of his sleeves, his hidden hands clenched tightly in fists. "Show them..Show them..Rule them.." Zant's mind echoed to him, "They'll thank me later! I can be better than that Midna fool, by a thousand times!" Inside him, he felt a burning power that his god had infused him with burn through his coursing veins like fire. "Besides," Zant cynically said aloud as his footsteps reached the doors to the throne room, "Any ruler who cannot see a rebellion coming isn't fit to lead."
His dark cloaked arms raised up from beside him, his tasseled sleeves blowing as a burst of energy ripped from his covered hands, spiraling out in a cascade of power to slam into the double doors ahead of them. Pieces of stone and shards of blue light splattered in every direction as the doors blew open, and the usurper king stepped into the room through the resulting cloud of blue and black dust with a single whisper, "I'll have your kingdom now, Midna."
