Timeline: Day: 8/9/09 Time: 10 AM
----------------------------------
All Samus could see was mist. Mist, and rock. This was quite the change from Zebes ... there wasn't an organic piece of manner anywhere on this godforsaken piece of rock. What was going on?
"This isn't like my home at all," the huntress muttered under her breath irritably. After she had walked on that shit of a path--she had nearly fallen over 10 times, moreso than usual--a circular area was welcome to see. It seemed large enough to hold a large group of people, and there wasn't a way to fall out of this area, at least--large, pointed rocks jutted out towards the sky, almost reaching towards the cloudy mist.
There seemed to be ... what ... seven other openings? Seemed like she'd have to do exploring ... But there was no one else here. She could take a rest. With a small, depressed sigh, Samus walked towards the wall-like rocks and sat down, taking off the helmet of her Varia Suit and setting it aside.
Where was she ... Where the HELL was she?

Graverobber walked down the misty rocky path, whisling a catchy tune, and singing under his breath.
"Zydrate comes in a little glass vial. A little glass vial? A little glass vial," he sang as he twirled the Zydrate gun in his hand. His satchet and a shovel were strapped to his back. The shovel had dirt on the end of it from his last Zydrate hunt.
Graves came upon a circulat space. He looked around and noticed another person there.
"Well, hello there," he said, "Do you live here?" he asked the rather broad sholdered young woman.

Mist began to obscure Link's vision as he ventured further into a land unknown. He had gone into the Sacred Grove for the purpose of checking upon the Master Sword earlier, for monsters were beginning to crawl out from beneath the shadows; more so than usual.
He had feared for the revival of either Zant or Ganondorf, for the entire climate of the land seemed to grow darker with each passing day. Drawing the Master Sword from its engraved stone, he had set off back towards Ordon village... to find himself lost in this seemingly never-ending fog.
He stumbled. This was unfamiliar terrain. Usually there was lush forest and streams, but this was nothing like it. Rocky outcroppings jut from the ground, and all was still. No chirping of birds, nor the breeze of the wind. It made Link uneasy.
And he had a right to be. Up ahead he saw what seemed like a ... woman in the most elaborate set of armor he had seen. He squinted his eyes in a vain attempt to make out the markings on the orange suit, but couldn't see whether or not they familiar.
She didn't SEEM hostile, so quietly made his way to her. His blade rest in his sheath as not to appear harmful. Next to her was an odd looking man talking to her.

... Oh. So now there were two people here. And one of them was packing weaponry--albeit medieval. Regardless ... Samus quickly stumbled to her feet and put back on her helmet, raising her arm cannon and alternating it between the two for a few seconds.
The decked-out kid didn't appear like he was going to rush at her with that sword. The other one wasn't armed. Reluctantly, the huntress lowered her cannon, her blue eyes narrowing to slits. Her tone was sharp.
"You two. Who are you? Neither of you would survive on Zebes in those ridiculous outfits." They weren't from the Federation. Now, she was REALLY confused--just by that thought alone. They were both human [she didn't notice Link's Hylian ears yet], and neither were in uniform.
"Fellow hunters found their way here, eh? Maybe one of you knows where the hell we are. I've never seen it before." Her glance went between both newcomers, and she waited for their replies.

Graves looked at the orange armored woman and smirked. Her arm canon caught his interest immediately. If he could get one like that equiped for Zydrate retreival and dispribution...it would make his life so much more easy.
His eyes then went to the other boy. He probably wouldn't of noticed him if it weren't for the lady. He looked over the boy. Green tunic, sword, boots, blond hair, pointed ears. Graves raised an eyebrow at the ears. 'Some elf wannabe?' he thought to himself.
He looked from between the boy and to woman a few times before shrugging.
"Sorry lady, don't know anything about this Zebes. But I am a hunter of sorts," he said and held up his Zydrate gun, equipped with a full vial of glowing neon blue liquid.
"Names Graverobber," he said as he tooka light bow and looked aorund him. A circular almost clearing or rock with jagged spires reaching towards the sky. He counted the other paths, 7, making eight including the one he came from all together.
If Graves didn't know better, he would of sworn he has taken some of his own Z.

Link had been silently looking at the area around them. He was still concerned about the orange-armored woman, but he decided to think nothing more of it. Her tone was cold, but he could tell she was just using that as a mask. He also decided to ignore her comment about "his ridiculous outfit". He almost snorted. Quite rude of her, if he dare said.
After listening to the odd-looking man, Link responded. "Link." was all he said. He wasn't interested in small talk, really. He needed to find a way out of this place.
But something about that name intrigued him. Zebes? He'd heard nothing of this "Zebes" before. Where was it?

Link. What kind of a name was Link. Who cared--he was armed to the teeth. If nothing else, he could find his way out of here. Her train of thought was broken when she heard Graverobber call her 'Lady.' Her free fist clenched, and she spun to face him, glaring daggers directly at the offender.
"It's Samus. DON'T call me Lady." There was a moment of silence, and she cleared her throat. Her voice took on a more neutral tone, now figuring out they meant no harm. Not for the time being, at least.
"Wait. You don't know about Zebes? That's ..." she trailed off, unable to finish her sentence. Who hadn't heard of Zebes? "Well, then. If you're not from Zebes, or any of the planets nearby, what's your home?" Samus paused, and turned to face Link.
"And yours, for that matter. I've only seen those weapons in the Chozo markings on the walls. Never in real life." So either he was really FROM medieval times, or he was dressing up. ... wait, those ears. Samus raised an eyebrow under the visor, but said nothing about the matter. This Graverobber was weird enough, anyways. ... His hair, especially.

Graves smiled and looked at Samus. "I'm from the home of GeneCo, Huntsman Brough," he said. He ignored her obvious hatred of being called Lady, and figured now that he knew, he could use it to annoy her whenever he got bored here. He really wasn't too concerned about getting home. This place was new, and new places meant new markets.
"So, you two ever heard of Zydrate?" he asked.

What in Din's name was Zydrate or the Chozo? He'd never heard of these terms before...
Link shook his head slowly and returned his gaze back to the woman who called herself Samus. "I'm from the kingdom of Hyrule, ma'am." he replied politely.
He was slightly nervous. Who were these strangers? They obviously weren't from around where he was from. The two looked so... different.

GeneCo, Hyrule ... if Grandpa Bird was still around, she'd ask him. But her slight fear was replaced by curiosity. Of course, the Federation had mentioned parallel dimensions before ... so maybe this would be good enough evidence for them. Then again, the last thing she wanted was for them to invade other universes. It was best for her to keep this under wraps.
"No," she replied cautiously. Samus glanced at the Graverobber again, and blinked once. "What is it?" Perhaps it'd be best to leave with actual proof. Adam won't believe me if I don't bring back something ... Then, her heart sank. Oh, she remembered--when she tried to go back, where she came from was replaced by a solid rock wall.
She was trapped here. With these people. It looked grim.

Graves nodded and help up his gun.
"Zydrate, the 21st Century Cure. It takes you to a place of no worried, no problems, no feeling. It takes you there," he said with a smile.
"Interested?"
He had heard what Link said about the Kingdom of Hyrule. He'd never heard of it before, but that didn't mean it didn't exsist. Plus, he was in a strange place, why not strange people to go along with it?

[[ Unfortunately, Link can no longer post with us. As of now, he has wandered off for the moment. ]]

Samus glanced back at Link as he left the area--either he was probably going to try and get back to that "Hyrule," or he was exploring. Either one sounded appealing to her ... but here she was, stuck with Graverobber. And considering he had NO weapons, she'd probably have to play bodyguard. He better pay her well for it.
"I need my senses if I'm going to survive here," the huntress said coolly. She shook her head. "No thanks. Why would you offer someone something like that, anyway?"

Graves smiled and shrugged.
"Well, how else would one be ready for surgery?" he asked. He watched Link wander off and sighed. It seemed these two weren't interested. He'd just have to find some other customers in this strange place then.

... Surgery? Her eyebrow arched again, and Samus shook her head. That GeneCo--Huntsman Borough?--place really was different from hers.
"You raise a point, but I don't need surgery," the huntress began, taking off her helmet as she spoke. That armor was getting very uncomfortable, but she'd keep the rest on, just in case something came out of nowhere. Her bad luck tended to guarantee that, pretty much. Though, the cool mist that suddenly graced her face was a very nice welcome.
"Why would they? To become more able for their jobs?" She had to keep talking, as much as the idea made her want to hit something. A breakthrough could be possible if she kept trying to get information. If he was bullshitting her--she wouldn't be surprised, really, if that 'Zydrate' was poison--she'd catch it.
