"Oh my god--!" Samus grunted and covered her ears to block out some of the sudden booming voice, and then looked up to see ... A robot. A giant. Fucking. Robot. the huntress gaped silently for a moment, and she was currently very thankful that Graverobber could answer the question.
... Why did he get a direct answer and not her!? She shot a glare at Graverobber, and then looked back up to face Megatron. She attempted to answer.
"Suppose it's a pleasure to meet you ... But Graverobber knows this--I've not a clue ..." Her eyes wandered slightly, trying to take this in, but her grip on the Paralyzer tightened. Now, she was REALLY nervous.

Megatron leaned on one of the nearby buildings, his red optics jumping over the people in the alley, assessing any possible threats. The only one was the woman in blue, at least to him. The direct answers pleased him, and his head nodded with a smile, the rotors and servos whirring. Perhaps his size and the fusion cannon locked to his arm was enough of a reason for the man to not dodge around as he had with the huntress.
His fingers drummed over the roof while he thought.
He glanced over Samus with a definite frown - more females. But she was powerful and he respected that. "Does this world have energy, 'Graverobber'?"
"And who leads?"

Graves walked around a bit, as if he was thinking.
"Engery would be with the electic companies. As for this world's ruler. Some say the president. Although, he is just a puppet on the strings of Rotti Largo. The head of GeneCo."
Graves wanted to play with the large metal man, but he knew if he didn't answer straight out, he'd probably get stepped on. He needed to give this robot his answers so he would leave him alone. He had junkies to sell Z to.

Samus mentally groaned at Graverobber's first comment, but now she was even more intrigued about this 'Rotti Largo.' While he was being direct about it, she might as well take advantage of it. The huntress stepped forward and folded her arms, leaning to the side with a frown on her face.
"You've yet to explain who this "Rotti" is," she pointed out calmly. "Aside from being the leader of GeneCo ..." And she didn't even know what GeneCo was. Was it some sort of company ...?
Maybe ... maybe it had to do with those surgeries that he was talking about in that misty place. That might be linked ...

Megatron drummed his fingers on a rooftop, sounding like an avalanche slamming down and providing a booming backbeat to their singing. The Graverobber was giving him enough answers. President? Electric companies? Oh, by Unicron, this was Earth again! Another Earth! He growled deeply, and even that was more musical than he remembered it. He muttered under his breath in Cybertronian (which had a natural cadence anyway, being a tonal language).
"Those answers please me. Another day, you may live free."

Graves looked at Samus and smiled again.
"GeneCo, the savior of the earth, or that's how it all started. Organ failures, they were everwhere so long ago. But GeneCo came to the rescue. With Organ financing. Then Rotti passed Organ reposessions. And now we live in fear. One goes to GeneCo for new parts. Legs, arms, hearts, eyes, you name it, they have it. You want it, they got it. But it is all for a price. You better pay, or the Repo Man takes back what is Rotti's."

"So it's a system," Samus said bluntly. She shifted onto her right foot and leaned against the Zydrate Addicts Support poster, looking from Megatron to Graverobber.
"How do I get home ... I'm sick of being here ..." She lowered her eyes, and began to think silently. Obviously, the Repomen were assassins--he said as much ... and even though they were legalized ... they had to be stopped SOMEHOW. It just wasn't right. Those organs let them live, if she was piecing this together right.
"Why would one need new eyes ...? People can cope with being blind! Why would they sign away their life?"

"Of course it's a system, girlie, everything in the Galaxy is part of a system. Millions of years ago, I once thought it was chaos. Those were great days, I miss 'em."
Megatron understood it, though, what the Graverobber said. It was not as the Huntress dreamed it, of course. There was a simple word for why a 'bot would get new optics. Or replace his arm to mount an Energon Mace and Fusion Cannon. His voice was as close to a hiss as he ever could make it, the word booming over the alleyway, reverberating against the brick of the buildings. It was without song, a single word to explain it all.
"Upgrades..."
"This 'Rotti' pretends to power? Point me in his direction, I'd bet it's some high tower."
"You humans certainly love your towers."

Graves pointed up to the GeneCo tower.
"There is where the 'King' resides, in his kingdom of death and blood."

Samus had to bite her tongue to not launch into a speech. Chaos was NOT good ... in fact, it's part of the reason why ... She flinched and shook her head. No. She was NOT going to think about K-2L while in a total different place. Around strangers, no less. That was ridiculous.
Though, she looked up at the GeneCo tower, and her eyes narrowed. It looked like a tower all right ... A place with legalized killing WAS a place of death. Now? She just wanted to get out.
"I'm going to find my way home," she sang quietly. Samus brushed by one of the few remaining junkies and walked to where she found the portal, attempting to re-open it desperately.
"Come on. OPEN!"

Megatron nodded and laughed, that harsh metallic sound that was like steel grating scratching against something else even harder. In all his millions of years, he'd never seen a place that would be so simple to conquer. Even the Planet of Junk was less upgrade obsessed. So he took off, priming his cannon to destroy the tower.
"A king, you say? A king rightly serves an emperor, and so he shall! Say farewell to your Repo Men, I'll hide them in their proper corrall!"
And so, the 3-story tall robot streaked across the sky, high enough to blot out the moon, and cast himself as a silhouette over their puny human city.

Graves watched Megatron zoom off and smirked. He grabbed Samus' hand and ran off with her. He laughed as he ran and darted down another alleyway. He seemed overly excited about what Megatron was doing.
"We're off to watch the show. The wonderful show of GenCo destruction!" he sang aloud.

"Hey! Let me go! These are lives at stake--not a show! Let me GO!" Samus squirmed against Graverobber's hold, but he was pulling her too fast to let her even consider writhing free. She would more than likely be lost.
The huntress made mental notes about where he was turning, and in what direction, and fully intended to remember them later. This was ... this wasn't supposed to be happening.

Megatron drew closer to the building, wholly unaware of the humans below him. What he wouldn't have given for Soundwave, Shockwave, even Starscream right now! For slag's sake, he'd have accepted Buzzaw's aid at this juncture. But this was a world ripe for the plucking and he would not be slowed down by a few minor issues, like how he would manage to get the energy back to Cybertron. Eventually, Astrotrain or the Constructicons would form a transwarp conduit to find him, and it would lead them here.
He primed his fusion cannon, the purple energy glowing like a star in the sky at the tip of his cannon, ready to explode.
"Coming, I am, for you. Trembling is what you should do! I am Megatron, Lord of the Decepticon. I rule Cybertron... and I will soon rule you!"
He fired his cannon, shearing off the top twelve floors of the building, enjoying the sounds as those things he hit simply ceased to exist in an explosion of fusion energies, the rest rocketing upwards before falling back down to the surface.

Graves rounded the corner just as Megatron fired. He lifted up his arms to shield his eyes from the light of the cannon fire. The top of the GeneCo building flew off and broke apart in an amazing display.
"Oooooh," Graves said with a smirk.
