Magdalene Defoe, better known as Blind Mag, prided herself on one thing. No, two things. Her singing, and remaining elegant. Though the latter, she was sure, anyone would forgive her indiscretion of when faced with what she'd just seen. The force of the explosion had forced her backwards, landing rather painfully on the Opera's stage. She shuddered at some distant well-locked almost-memory connected with falling there, but it was pushed off immediately by the sheer, unbelievability of what she'd seen. She wasn't on Zydrate, that would at least explain it. No, she was drugless and sober, so all she could think of to say about now, staring up at the remainder of the building with wide, wide glacier blue eyes, was, "Holy Shit. "

"Oh ... oh my god ..." Samus stumbled to a halt and stared up at the now shattered GeneCo building, eyes wide.
Were there people in there? Who died? How much would this cost to fix? Typical questions that the Federation beat into her head. The huntress glanced away for a moment, then back at the scene. That would take a LOT to fix up. It looked expensive enough as is, but ... Jesus.
What was that robot THINKING?

What Megatron was "thinking" at that moment could be summed up simply. Power. This building was a symbol of power on this world. There was energy and to spare - he could see that from the lighting alone! If he ruled this post-apocalyptic world, he could use the slaves that inhabited it to create enough energon to bring Cybertron to a new golden age - a Decepticon golden age.
The fusion cannon went off again, easily removing even more floors from GeneCo's Headquarters as he hovered in the air.
"Bow before me!"

Graves watched the robot continue to destroy the building. His smile faded however when the robot spoke next.
"So, it's another king for a king eh? Rotti or the Robot? I've got to say the old king may just be better. Oh what to do, what to do?" Graves sang and tapped his chin thinking.

As astonished as she was, it did no good to simply sit here. Even so, she sat for a good while longer, simply staring, before finally getting up, in awe, not really realizing she was even moving, unsure where she was going, for that would require knowing what was going on, wouldn't it? Yes, yes it would, ha. Ha ha. Ha. ... She meandered out onto the street, dazed and silent.

Samus stared at Megatron for a brief moment, and listened to Graverobber silently, with a snarl on her lips.
"I don't like the sound of this guy If your world collapses, he'll be why it does ..."
She then noticed a woman wandering down the street ... but her steps seemed staggering. Were they coming from the GeneCo building? Samus's slight hero complex caused her to dash ahead mindlessly, attempting to make sure that the woman was all right and not wounded in any way. Her attire was ... shocking, to say the least. Who would wear things like that ... here?
"Ma'am! Are you all right?" Samus asked, obviously concerned.

Megatron's focus was no longer on the humans as he used his cannon the most artful way he ever had - he quickly remodeled the outside of the GeneCo building into a giant Decepticon symbol. Where they had once seen the seat of power as a human thing was now a symbol recognized by Cybertronians. He floated in the air with a smirk, marvelling at the work of art that he'd created.
"Energy! I demand it! Immediately! I command it!"
"So says...Megatron!"

Graves looked at the GeneCo building and smirked at it's new design. He had to admit, this Megatron was powerful. But he wanted this energy, and it was obvious that no one knew what energy he was talking about.
"Excuse me, giant metal man. You speak of energy, but what energy do you speak of?" Graves asked. He needed to stay on the good side of Megatron for now. If he did, at least then he had a better chance of surviving.

Someone was speaking to her. In an authoritative voice. She had half a mind to sigh, those in authority never did much good. However, she couldn't help but to stop, and blink at the blonde, unsteadily. Was she alright. That was the question, wasn't it? "I do not know, oh, what a show. Such force of might won't set things right. " She hoped she was clear enough, her ears were still ringing from the blast, throwing her off entirely.

"Well, at least you're honest," Samus muttered under her breath. Spoken word seemed like a miracle now, and she was going to take every moment she could get with them. But that wasn't the issue; what the problem was was the unsteady woman. She didn't look well at all. But the more she looked at her, the more she recognized this person from that misty place. That voice set the deal, without a thought.
They had met before, if not briefly. ... Damn, none of this was a dream ...
Samus took a moment to look up at the modified GeneCo building, and her blood ran cold. This was not a friendly robot. Not from the way he was acting. Dear god, what had gotten in here? Everyone was in trouble ...
"We need to get you to safety. This place is giving me a sense of anxiety! Especially with that giant robot around ... Here, I don't want to be bound. Follow me!" Before Mag could protest, Samus grabbed the singer's hand and began to run, pulling her away from the former GeneCo building. God knows what it was now.

Megatron bent low, looking at the Graverobber, a slightly quizzical look on his face. Had he been speaking in Cybertronian? He checked his records - no, he'd been speaking the same language as the humans. So why did he not understand the word 'energy'? Ah, what kind, what kind. There was an audible 'click' in his head as his memory banks accessed the words in English.
"Electricity, you oaf! And my name, is Megatron. Here's a hint: don't forget it; Fade away, I won't let it! I am Megatron, lord high Decepticon; repeating this, my gears it begins to wear on!"
He pointed directly at a lightpole and an attached power line. "You say there is a plant. Lead me, human!"
Meanwhile, above the planet...
Four robots sat in the main area of the (relatively) small scout vessel, which was actually made of their compatriot, Blitzwing. A transwarp conduit had opened it and they'd been dragged along with it - their engines were not powerful enough to resist a more powerful signature. They had not seen the Alicuna, but now saw Huntsman Borough.
"Ahem. I don't know if your faulty optics have picked up the surface yet, but there have been several high-energy explosions below. And it would appear that their target has been...redesigned."
Onslaught's optics scanned over it, and his fist tightened. So that was what had brought the Combaticons there! Well, now, he had a choice. Megatron alone could be defeated by Bruticus, but he'd also been Decepticon leader for a long time now with good reason. It would be easier to ally with him now, gain power over this insignificant planet, and then dig in for an assault against all of Cybertron for what had been done to the Combaticons. Still he couldn't ignore that buzzing in his head that made it impossible for him to plan a direct assault on Megatron.
"Combaticons, ready for combat! We go to aid Megatron in his conquest, for the glory of the Combaticons and the Decepticons!"
The shuttle screamed down through the atmosphere to approach Huntsman Borough.

Graves nodded.
"Of course Megatron, supreme leader of these Decepticons. Follow me to the energy you so desire," he said and started walking. He knew he could lead Megatron away from Samus and Mag. Maybe while he kept the metal man happy, they would figure out a way to deal with him.

She didn't know where the girl was taking her. She ran just the same, picking up her skirts with her other hand. This sort of mindless dash was becoming familiar to her. Glancing back once, she saw a piece of Megatron and GraveRobber. A resigned fear crossed her face, and she turned forward once more, following the bounty hunter again. The last time they met wasn't so different, in it's briefness. Was all the world like this now?

To be frank, Samus was only looking for a place to hide. She had no clue where she was going. She only knew that the farther away from Megatron they were, the better off they were.
The huntress kept a firm grip on Mag's hand and turned a sharp corner, dashing back to the alleyway from where she came. Maybe the portal was here. Just maybe. As she turned to Zydrate Alley, she let go of Mag's hand and began to explore the now-empty 'portal' area, and turned to where she had entered. The portal was still gone. A snarl crossed her face, and she pounded against the wall.
"We need to find a way to beat that thing ... If only my ship was here, I could ..." Those missiles would come in handy ... with a sad sigh, Samus resigned to the fact that she was still stuck there and strode back out into the main area, still in deep thought.
"We have to get that thing out of here."

Megatron walked away with the Graverobber, his optics scanning the area for traps of any kind. For the moment, he remained silent, happy enough to remain a huge metal beast, casting enough of a shadow to actually darken entire blocks. He checked his power core and didn't like what he found - he was at 60%, but holding. It wasn't critical, but it sure wasn't good news either. His mind was now focused on finding this power plant, and using it.
